Please come in and join the Friends for $10 a year minimum and receive tokens of appreciation. The group counts on the financial support of library lovers to help keep the JPL a growing concern. In 2013 alone the Friends sponsored workshops with an attorney, master gardener, an AARP safe drivers course, bus trips, gifts to Jamesburg grads, the SUMMER READING PROGRAM, cookie decorating with the kids and a great GALA. They purchased the bike rack, new shelving and paid for numerous necessary repairs to the building. The Friends need you to continue making the library a viable, safe place in Jamesburg. SIGN UP IN THE LIBRARY ANY DAY OR MAIL IN YOUR CONTRIBUTION FOR MEMBERSHIP.
The Friends meet the first Monday of the month at 11 am.

Friend of the Year 2013
Carole Hetzell is the Friend of the Year 2013. Joe Valdes, Trustee President and Grace Wetzel, Treasure of the Friends surprised Carole with the announcement at the April 13 Library Gala. MS Hetzell resurrected the Friends group in the 2000's and has been president since that time. She is also a past-president of the Trustees, now VP of Trustees, leader of the Book Club, Gala chairperson, library volunteer and all-around filler-in-when-necessary person.
